DIFFA, Gift For Life and National Stationery Show® Team Raises $28,300+ for AIDS Walk New York
May 23, 2016—On May 15, a team consisting of members from Gift For Life and the National Stationery Show raised more than $28,300—including a $5,000 matching grant from DIFFA—in the 31st Annual AIDS Walk New York. The funds will support prevention, care, and advocacy programs for men, women and families living with HIV/AIDS.
This is the fifth consecutive year the team has fundraised through participation in the walk and the fourth year DIFFA has provided a matching grant to support our partners from Gift for Life. This is only one of many ways DIFFA fundraises and grants funds to support organizations across the country providing direct care and services in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
“My Co-Team leader, Caroline Kennedy and I work and walk each year to fight and end a disease that has impacted not only our industry but also affects each of us personally. The matching grant from DIFFA is so instrumental in helping the team reach its goal. Every year, each organization works together to participate in the AIDS Walk and aid GMHC and its fight against AIDS—truly making a difference,” said Sue Hilty.
