Highlighting Affiliates of the Dynamic Cause Marketing Program
New York, NY (November 2016) – DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) is bringing its Specify With Care® (SWC) cause-related marketing program to top East Coast tradeshows this fall. The initiative invites companies to donate a percentage of sales from designated collections to benefit DIFFA in its fight against HIV/AIDS. Specify With Care affiliate products will be displayed at NeoCon East in Philadelphia, November 9-10, in Booth (#402) and at BDNY in New York City, November 13-14 (Booth #951). Participating affiliates include Scott Brogan, Maya Romanoff, Wolf-Gordon, Lee Jofa, BLANCO, and EGE®.
DIFFA Executive Director Johanna Osburn, comments, “We are grateful to our Specify With Care® affiliates, whose generosity ensures that the foundation has the resources it needs to support the HIV/AIDS organizations it serves year-round. By taking SWC to NeoCon East and BDNY we are able raise awareness for our cause, and at the same time, introduce our affiliates exposure to influential designers and architects across a range of industries.”
Current Specify With Care participants include:
Scott Brogan: A percentage of sales from hardwood veneers, high pressure laminates, laminated glass and acrylic couture go to benefit DIFFA.
Maya Romanoff: A portion of sales from two of Maya Romanoff’s wall covering lines, the award-winning David Rockwell collection and the art-influenced Roger Thomas collection benefit DIFFA.
Wolf-Gordon: SWC’s largest contributor, Wolf-Gordon offers patterns, colors and textures tailored to today’s commercial interiors. When a customer specifies a product through the company’s Gift of Hope program, a percentage of the product’s gross funds go to support DIFFA.
Lee Jofa: The Groundworks collection draws inspiration from designer Mary Fisher’s activism on behalf of those infected with HIV/AIDS. A portion of the proceeds from the designs, which includes printed, woven and embroidered fabrics and trimmings, go to support DIFFA.
BLANCO: Any time the space saving IKON Apron Front Sink is specified, BLANCO makes a donation to DIFFA. A winning combination of design, function and durability, its sophisticated apron front design also features a traditional wide radius and generous 1.5” rim.
EGE: A specialist in textile flooring that blends fashion, interior design, and architecture, EGE donates one percent on all sales of its products in the US and one percent on worldwide (Non-USA) sales of EGE Couture collections to DIFFA whenever its lines are specified.
In addition to the goodwill a company generates by participating in Specify With Care, DIFFA offers its affiliates PR and marketing opportunities, as well as exposure at tradeshows and events.
